Ghost wasn't exactly the picture of mental health. There were benefits to being a dead man— that being that psych evaluations weren't something he had to worry about— but it didn't mean that it left him perfectly okay. He was probably worse off than your average soldier… Definitely worse off. But, as long as he could do his job, he wasn't a liability.

Summary
John has spent his entire life drenched in shame and guilt. Like most who grew up catholic, he learned shame sooner than he learned his own name. Shame and cruelty hung over the MacTavish household for years, shrouding it in a heavy cloud of misery. Finally free, he makes a list of everything he wants to do. Then he makes another. A list of experiences he wants to have before he dies, then the following list a layout of hedonistic pleasure that grows slowly more erotic and twisted with each new idea.
His team is happy to indulge him.

(Inspired by the various stories of the 141 getting an omega forced into their pack)
Evélie doesn't really want to be contracted to regulate packs that have lost their balance. But the money is good, and there aren't very many ways for omegas to make money and keep a pack going in the US. She deals with it because she has sisters and a brother who needs the support.
John Price and his task force, his pack, are facing the threat of being forcefully disbanded. Their pack dynamics and hormones are a mess. It went down hill after a particularly rough mission three years ago. He accepts the issued pack omega to keep his pack together and doing what they have a calling to do. His boys don't really interact with omegas often as unclaimed ones don't tend to be on base. He himself avoids omegas after a particularly bad experience in his youth. His wolf however, thinks it's time to change that and claim the pretty omega that snaps back.
It's only a year, but it will be the year that changes everything.

Sy’s whole body started to tremble with strike number eight, one hand gripping onto John’s trouser leg and the other fisting into the duvet as she kept her ass up in the air for him. She truly sounded like she was crying now, little sobs of his name leaving her pretty lips. “Daddy,” and “Please,” and “More.”

Sy jerked on his lap, yelping loudly and dissolving into sobs again. She didn’t count with him this time, her voice too shaky and out of her control, and John couldn’t help feeling proud of himself for bringing her here, proud of her for not needing to tap out.

She was a wreck. “Daddy~” She almost whimpered the word, her lips trembling and bitten plump. “I- I want-” she sniffled loudly, lifting one arm to wipe her running nose on. “Want you to hit me hard. ‘s hard as you can."

Summary
