Summary
In sixth year, Lily charms a few phones to survive working at Hogwarts, and Sirius accidentally texts Remus instead of James. Remus, a homeschooled werewolf living in Wales, meets Sirius, the disgraced Black heir living at Hogwarts. Somewhat of a Modern!AU because phones weren’t really a thing in the 70s.

Summary
For all that the teasing in the Great Hall hurt him, two words float back to Remus’ memory making him ache. ‘My Moony.’
Remus stares pointedly back into his book. He knows he won’t be able to look at Sirius and not cave.
“Remus, darling,” Sirius starts with a teasing melodrama, effectively punching Remus in the stomach. “You have got to start talking to me again.” Don’t look at him. “Because someone used a sticking charm on the Potters and they physically cannot be parted. Peter is snogging now, and all the girls hate me.”
‘You’re better company than being completely alone, I guess,’ is what Remus hears. It’s better this way.
“And I miss you,” Sirius adds quietly.

Between trying not to fall in love with the text penpal he's never met in person who started as a wrong number phone call, and trying not to fall in love with the hot guitarist from his Visual Cultures university lecture, Remus is dealing with a lot. To top it off his new friend is in love with his best friend's new boyfriend and the new boyfriend is roommates with the hot guy from class.
Basically every wolfstar fic trope in one with a heaping spoonful of random mythology.
