His throat tightened, tears welling up in his eyes. . It was a cradle, with blood from the previous sacrifices seeping into the bed of it. He reached down and with a clawed finger gently pulled back the blue silk, his hands shaking as he saw just who he was meant to destroy.
A baby. A small baby with a shock of blonde hair, and blue eyes that sleepily peered up at him. The baby yawned, and with its chubby hand grabbed his claw. He curled his finger and allowed the baby to messily gnaw at his knuckle, babbling nonsense.
He exhaled shakily. So, this was how he was to die? He had expected a great hero, one old as he was, with a great sword primed to take his life, but this?

Summary
Hallo! I decided to try writing some Batson!centric short stories because it looked really fun.
Note: I don't put stuff in the tags unless it actually shows up in the story.
1st Chapter: A sleep-deprived Billy forgets to transform before going up to the Watchtower. Shenanigans ensue.
2nd Chapter: Captain Marvel knows how to do his job. Billy remembers the Champion's baggage. They both are nagged by the gods. The League wonders why Captain Marvel has been requesting more shifts.
3rd Chapter: Batman hasn't figured out Captain Marvel's identity. The reverse is not true.
4th Chapter: Truth mold drives a League meeting off-course.
5th Chapter: Billy used to tell stories.
6th Chapter: Continuation of Fourth Chapter: The League is quarantined on the Watchtower until the mold wears off. Billy tries to avoid Batman, but that doesn't always go according to plan...
7th Chapter: Billy Batson is unstuck in time.
8th Chapter: Billy and Freddy go on a field trip.
9th Chapter: Billy contemplates Earth and Responsibility.
