Back when they started three years ago, it was just him and Ben fumbling around on their phones, making terrible pornography that people seemed to enjoy anyway. When Ben upped the production value, he saw it return tenfold in viewership and money, which also invited more people to send in requests.
The first time they brought in a third, it had been exhilarating, a new dynamic that Charlie thought brought a lot to what they were doing.
