There’s a storm brewing that none of them had seen coming, and it hits them like a ton of bricks.
Izzy is in no state to be above deck, not with a new leg and a wound that’s still not fully healed, and a stomach that can’t handle the choppy waves. That doesn’t stop him from going to the rigging as if he’s going to fucking climb it- Can’t do that with a wooden leg you twat.
Izzy is nothing if not persistent, and he starts the climb to reach a part of the sails that has come loose. He swears if they make it through this, he’s going to run all of these bastards through it until they can tie proper knots.

Basically, Rook is just coming over to spend time with Joseph. He realizes that Joseph is more than a little bit tense while working on the next sermon. So he tries to help him with a little stress relief, which includes Rook playing with Joseph's hair, amongst other things.
It is exactly the kind of 'other' stress relief you think it is. Joseph is touch starved asf.

What he did not anticipate however, was that Aiden was going to turn the tables and annoy him just as much... Now John is faced with emotions he cannot describe - And Aiden is faced with a great amount of sarcasm.
In which John wants to kill Aiden half of the time, and wants chicken nuggets.
