“What does that even mean?” An replies, even though she knows quite well that it means Kohane can't physically bite her. She does some simple neuroscience in her head and comes up with one possible explanation. “Kohane," she says, "Can you show me your fangs?”
Trying her best to stay composed, Kohane hooks her finger into the corner of her mouth and bares her fangs. It’s only then that An realises the problem. It’s a pretty big problem, and also somewhat daunting, and also incredibly, unbelievably Kohane-like.
“Kohane,” she repeats sweetly, squeezing her hand, “you have baby fangs.”
Shiraishi An is a self-proclaimed professional at being a normal and average human being. Azusawa Kohane has fangs and drinks blood. They make it work, kind of.
