He doesn’t elaborate, which only makes Elliot more enthusiastic. He pushes through the swinging door, the antiseptic smell hitting him harder now. He reaches the third door and pauses for a beat.
Then pushes it open.
“HAAAY PARTNER!”

This time, however, when she’s hurt and he’s not around, it’s simply because there’d been no time.
Instead, he’s fielding a call from Fin. All he hears is the words Olivia, concussion, home now and Elliot is locking up his Long Island City apartment, making sure his go-bag is in the back of his SUV before he’s off.
