Summary
You know the story by now; a stranger from the city inherits the old farm on the outskirts of Pelican Town and moves in to revive both the property and the economy. But what if...that didn't happen?
Kai is an anxious and shy woman, preferring the company of nature and animals while avoiding other people if it could be helped. It was clear the weight of baggage and burdens weighed heavy on her shoulders, and yet she remained guarded and closed off, too afraid to let anyone get too close. She was delicate and pure, a fragile treasure that needed to be protected as she couldn't protect herself.
Well. That's what Sebastian likes to believe.
Now the roles are reversed, and a certain raven haired man's passing curiosity starts to morph into interest. And then obsession. And what he believes is love.
