Summary
Yae had never wished to live in more interesting times, and yet – here he was: herding a “group full of weirdos”: a cleric who thought was good at keeping secrets and being mean; a rogue exuding a cacophony of inconsistent signals; a githyanki who took things even more literally than he did; and others still. He’d never guess they’d survive for more than a few days, not to mention growing close and forming genuine bonds. Most of the time he felt like the only voice of reason.
These are the stories about the forging of those bonds, about sadness and happiness, about loneliness and the need to belong, about fighting with one’s demons and discovering important truths.
