Summary
Hugo is living with his sister and two friends in the slums, trying to survive off of the bare minimum that they can steal. Donella sees them go on a heist one night and sees potential in Hugo so decides to mentor him which creates a rift in Hugos small family. Though they're lives weren't perfect before Donella they were as happy as they could be in the situation, but Hugo seems to have bigger dreams since meeting Donella.
Unfinished - I plan to finish it at this point though
This is my imagined Hugo Rottenwage (vat7k) backstory of how he came to meet Donellas crew. No Varian but he does get a mention (as well as Ulla and Quirin). In this Hugo is 12, Poppy is 14, Milo is 13 and Chase is 9. I know OCs usually scare people off but in this story they are used to be Hugos original crew.
This is my first fic so sorry if its terrible lmao, but I'm open to any feedback!!
