Summary
"Some even say that the peaches grant immortality. I suppose, I would know more than most..."
In the span of a day and a journey, Peach Blossom changed his life, gained immortality, and became the keeper of his beloved peach garden. Notably, he also lost his eye in its entirety, replaced with a soft pink flower rooted deep into his eye socket.
It's a simple enough story, really. If you're willing to ignore the sentient trees.

Summary
An immortal doomed to care for one location for the rest of time.
An amusement park. A garden.
Cream Unicorn and Peach Blossom were similar, so similar. They both had been around for eons upon eons, but knew little about the outside world. They both had few true friends, and few interactions with other Cookies in general. They both cared for their respective locations, keeping them in pristine shape, no matter how often visitors would arrive.
They had their differences. But they shared many common traits.
How unfortunate, then, that they hated each other. How unfortunate, then, that they were each the only one who could truly understand the other. How unfortunate, then, how awful, that every interaction blazed with a tantalizing and neverending fire.

The sticky, sour taste of loneliness never leaves their mouth, drowning out every other flavor.
In their free time - not that there's anything to be busy with, these days - they dream of a world where they're able to tell people about it. Where they can spill all their secrets without the guilt of their friends becoming sad over it. Where their friends have all the answers, where their friends can tell them it's okay, where life can finally go back to full parks and happy memories.
