I still looked at the scene queerly, my stomaching doing flips when I paused, seeing a little boat gently gliding over the calm surface of the water. I lightly squinted my eyes as I stepped closer to the portal and a voice filtered through. I stared stunned and shocked as the image of the 2 people on the boat became clear. The voice ringing in my head, I looked at the portal, then at Death then at the portal again.
“Really??” I said dumbly, Death just laughed lightly, and nodded before speaking. “I know its cliché and dumb, but I am Isekai-ing you there.” I groaned and squatted down, contemplating if staying in the void was better. Then thought better of it as I stood up, scuffing my steeled toed boot on the floor. “Fine, whatever, better than this maddening place.” I mumbled to myself, missing the grin and weariness on Death’s face.
[Its rated M cause I cuss a lot and I ain't fixing that for no one, so if you are not a fan of dumb cursing move along please, don't have time for your, this would be so much better if you didn't use so many curse words.]
