Something was off though, one glanced their way but didn’t try to give chase or even yell. He looked worried, even afraid. Vi’s stomach dropped, an Enforcer…scared, now she was terrified.
Another Enforcer walked up to them dropping onto one knee in front of her, a mask plastered on their face. “Don’t move,” their voice echoed through their mask as they assessed Vi’s side. “You’re going to need the hospital.”
Nothing was making sense to Vi at this moment. Everything felt off, what was going on.
“She’s not breathing! She was too close to the blast!”
“Fuck! Start chest compressions!”

Vi looked away from the frustrated man in front of her and there in the doorway, an Enforcer held a blue haired girl in their arms. She looked more battered and bruised than Vi was and she was unconscious, seeming limp and lifeless.
OR

She almost doesn’t hear the actual answer. “And though I have no doubt a thousand people have given this answer before, I did nothing. I was doing my job, and then I was here. No trial. No sentencing. No crime to speak of.”
