!SPOILERS UP UNTIL MAG 130!
We know the facts: Gertrude Robinson threw Jan Kilbride into *the pit* to prevent a ritual of The Buried, and it caused an earthquake which completely destroyed the town of Bucoda...
...But what we don't know is the details. I've attempted to depict that moment in as much detail as I can.
(This was supposed to be chapter 1 of a longer fanfic – the prologue of which you can find on my profile - but I've lost interest in continuing and it absolutely works as a oneshot)

Summary
Fiddleford Hardon McGucket decides to break ties with The Beholding in a rather dramatic fashion, thereby beginning his pursuit of a personal vendetta against it. But does this truly make him a neutral party amidst the entities?
First draft for a *Prologue* of a rather long TMA x Gravity Falls crossover I'm working on, and also my first fan fiction EVER. I'm posting this specifically looking for constructive criticism, as this will probably not be the final product and it may take quite a while before I upload any chapters. I'm not quite sure yet whether I want to post them as I go or figure out more of the plot first - we'll see.
Trigger warning: Eyeballs, gore, mild body horror, mild derealisation(?)
English is not my first language nor am I particularly confident with writing in it yet, and I am quite young (and obviously quite insecure, as well) so don't judge me too harshly. I'm also very new to AO3 overall, so I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly :3

Summary
On the Blackwell Academy campus, two students coexist without any connection. Nathan Prescott is the rich asshole that nobody wants anything to do with; just as he likes it. Warren Graham is the overlooked science nerd whose very best friends can hardly force out of his armored shell- sci-fi movies and closed blinds are just so much easier to face.
One accidental crossing of paths turns into several more, until they cannot be untangled. While this proves to create the expected conflict at first, it slowly turns into something completely different and far more terrifying. Lovers...? Worse.
Their respective secrets are eating them alive. Mr. Jefferson and his Darkroom looms in Nathan's past and present, while Warren shields the struggles of his transition from all of his peers, trying to keep up with Max and Chloe reeling him into a conspiracy to find Rachel Amber. Coincidentally, Nathan's simultaneously working on a plan to avenge that very same girl... just from a different angle.
