As Peter grew older, he lost his excited teenage spark. Everything had gone downhill from the time Stark took away his suit. Stark didn't even thank him for stopping the Vulture. Soon enough, he gave up on Stark. The older he got, the more he saw how stupid his 15-year-old self was. Stark never cared about him, but that's okay because now he's 21 and Stark is just the hurtful past.
But what happens when Stark all of a sudden needs his help again? Will Peter Parker help, or will he deny his offer?

Ranboo doesn’t think he’ll ever get used to being underestimated. Even though it happens time and time again; people are always surprised when he proves them wrong. They’re always shocked when they see the shy, innocent teenager incapable of even killing a fly destroy people as if they’re nothing.
He thought the Dream SMP would be different. They thought the worst of people after all.
Spoiler alert: he was wrong.OR, another traumatized BAMF Ranboo fic with him yelling at Dream and everyone being simultaneously worried and shocked and at least a little bit scared.

Peter was beginning to put pieces together he hadn’t bothered to before. He’d been excited to help Iron Man, excited to meet the other Avengers. But now in the calm, it felt . . . wrong almost.
Peter paused.
Something was off.
His ears caught the sound of something skittering and his heart skipped a beat. It was probably just a mouse or something. He’d have to tell Mister-
That sixth sense went off, and Peter ducked.
Nothing happened. Nothing sailed overhead.
His heart was in his throat and Peter stood again. It was like he was disoriented, and the world was too big to sharp but completely empty and silent.
