Usually, Akito would always have a smug, self-assured grin on his face. Usually, he would always carry himself with immense determination, standing strong and tall and almost seemingly invincible, always taking everything life thrown at him head-on. Usually, he would never let himself relax, he would grit his teeth, and push on and on until he couldn't, then push some more.
Right now, when Kanade looked at him, she just saw a sick, tired, but young boy, a normal fourteen-year-old child you see everyday at school or at a mall or anywhere usual, not someone who had been shouldering everything life had thrown at him alone for years.

It becomes painfully clear, the way Raiders and Cleaners operated in such different ways. Where Fu found the Raiders' to be individualistic, the Cleaners seemed to put great attention to teamwork.
