Summary
Months after the War of the Ring, everyone is still trying to adjust to the newfound peace.
Aragorn never says anything, but Arwen can see a tension in his shoulders that never quite leaves. All those years as a ranger, a hunter, a warrior, and suddenly there is nowhere for that tension, that thrumming energy to go.
Besides, claiming that she has never wondered about what it would feel like to be his prey would be a lie.
So, Arwen thinks she has found a solution for both of the issues.

This story begins exactly where the second season of the series ended. The elves, led by Gil - Galad, Galadriel and Elrond escape to Lindon. Galadriel seems to have been cleared of the darkness, but the truth turns out to be quite different. Sauron arrives to Lindon after them and begins the siege of Forlond. Very soon he will offer peace and safety to all of Lindon, but he will demand the highest price for it...

Aylin's groan rumbled up through her chest when Isobel tightened her hold on her firm little prize.
"Isobel. Sweet Isobel. Is this a dream?"
"If it is," she breathed, nipping at the underside of Aylin's jaw, "then I pray to the Moomaiden's mercy we linger here forever more." Soft flesh, hard muscle. A large hand splaying wide across her lower back, urging more exquisite pressure.
It was Isobel's turn to rock Aylin's world from its axis.
