“I hope they remember you.” Thanos raised his hand, stones glowing.“Wait, wait, stop, please!” Peter’s ribs ached, his lungs trembling with the need for air, but Peter couldn’t stand there and watch Mr. Stark die, he just couldn’t. With a thwip of his webs, he slid in between Mr. Stark and Thanos. “Can’t we talk about this?” He pleaded.
“Kid, don’t.” Mr. Stark gasped.
“There is nothing to say. The universe must be saved and this is the only way.” Thanos’s eyes on Peter chilled him to the bone. Peter had seen a lot since he started running around Queens as Spider-Man. A lot. He’d seen crazy eyes, angry eyes, sad eyes, eyes full of grief, eyes full of fear. Never before had he seen such emotionless eyes as those Thanos had. There was no hate, anger, or fear in those eyes. They were completely calm.
They didn’t look crazy at all, and it was terrifying to see when he knew just what the Titan had planned.

Bruce was nine years old when the zombie apocalypse started, and well over a decade later, he could still remember that day as clearly now as it had been when it happened.“Bruce! Are you ready yet? It’s time to go!” Thomas Wayne, his father, shouted up the stairs.
In his bedroom, Bruce stood in front of the mirror and once again tried to tie his tie right. Alfred had shown him just yesterday how to do it, but for some reason he just couldn’t quite replicate the work. The tie just wouldn’t work right, settling crookedly against his chest. He huffed in annoyance, his nose crinkling with displeasure in the mirror. “Coming dad!” He shouted over his shoulder. “Just one second!”
Clumsy fingers untied the knot, then tried it again with the same results. Bruce frowned. “What am I doing wrong?” He muttered.

Damian woke up on August ninth already knowing that he would not be getting any work done today. He was sixteen now, which meant this was his seventh birthday since coming to live with his Father. As such, he knew what to expect from it.
He knew there would be cake, that his favorite meals would be made. He knew there would be a party later in the day with all of his friends and allies invited. He knew that if there was anywhere he wanted to go, they would do so, provided there were no large-scale Arkham breakouts to deal with. He knew that at some point throughout the day, his mother would arrive. She never approached him directly, but he could always sense her eyes on him.
Then he would make his excuses, would visit and speak to her. Not for long, never for long, twenty minutes at most, but she was always there.Series

It’s no secret that Dick has made mistakes over the years. The amount of regrets he has run deep to say the least. Here is a quick retrospective on some of those regrets, and the lengths Dick goes to make up for them.

Dick stared at the newspaper in his hands. He blinked once, twice, thrice, but the paper didn’t change. It continued to say, Robin Flies Again! As if that could be true. As if Bruce really would give away his colors without telling him.Because that would be ridiculous. Why would he do that? How could he do that? There was no way. There was no damn way Mr. ‘I never should have made you Robin’ would turn around and give some OTHER kid HIS suit.
Okay, a suit he abandoned, but-but-
Those were his colors.
That was his name.
Retired, yes, hell yes, he’d retired both. He grew up. He was his own hero, had his own city, his own team. Bruce had made it very clear that Dick wasn’t welcome or wanted.
And then he gave some other kid Robin. Like Robin was a toy to be passed around.
