Summary
Andrew wonders if maybe he is going to kill him. Maybe he is going to finally end it. The humiliation didn’t work so it is time to progress to murder. He wonders about how he’ll do it—imagining Fletcher’s hands around his throat, strangling the life out of him with his muscled arms, elbows locked in place as he bears the brunt of his weight down on him.
Post Carnegie, Andrew figures out new ways to tolerate Fletcher.

Summary
Bradley and Jake have been broken up longer than they were ever together. Long enough that if they fuck – just once, on account of circumstance – there's no need to worry that it'll happen again.
Little has changed in the year or so since the uranium mission. Jake wears more medals and carries himself with less swagger, more gravitas but he still looks the same. Golden, gorgeous, the lines of his smile and the curve of his eyes a hint to the mirth that lies beneath.
Still utterly insufferable.Bookmarked by 24_centuries

Summary
He should hang up. Go back to sleep. Doesn’t, when a whine fills his ear. Jake sits up straighter as the whine turns into sobs, as an omega, on the line, falls apart. But then-
"Pete? Sweetheart, please… Let me?" a far away voice begs above the cries.
A steadier lilt. Desperate nonetheless. Jake grits his teeth. Expects the worst.
"Mr. Seresin? This is Admiral Kazansky speaking."
Or: Jake runs an omega rehabilitation centre in Texas.
