Summary
Erestor tugged his hood forward, covering the bottom half of his face with part of his cloak as the bleak north wind whipped past him on the flat wastes. Sand bit into his exposed skin, making him wish he had not shattered the eye coverings he'd first brought with him to Ard-Galen. The sun was setting low on the western horizon, turning the rim of the world blood red. The strange atmosphere on the planet caused such sunsets of vivid color, streaking crimson and gold and violet lines across the whole sky.

Summary
The Order of Eru had existed for thousands of years, after the end of the War of Wrath and the fall of the Council of the Valar. But when the great enemy of the Republic began to stir from his prison in the Dark Nebula once more, the Senate revealed that they had long had the armies that once fought for them in the War of Wrath in stasis, just waiting for the next battle to be fought. That was when the Order of Eru was drafted to become the Armies of Beleriand's Generals and ordered to lead them against Morgoth's newest bid to break free and take over the galaxy once more.
But no one expected the Armies of Beleriand to mutiny and turn on the very same Generals who fought for them and with them on the battlefield. Not all is what it seems, though, and Erestor – wounded and mute due to a desperate gamble to save his Order and family – must navigate a maze of misunderstandings and revelations while also surviving both the ancient Temple he had escaped to and the agents of Morgoth sent to capture him...as well as the battalion he once led and the two Commanders who had long since captured his heart.
