Summary
Alfrida has always held a certain fascination for Loki simply because she is Thor’s, and the thought of somehow taking her from his brother has provided a pleasant distraction on occasion – idle speculation for a never-idle mind to play with, nothing more. At least at first.
Now, though... Now she is growing fat with her husband’s child, more precious to Thor than ever, and soon she will grow lonely as well, and this creates an opportunity for Loki; Thor has gone to war to extend the reach of his kingdom and to warn off any hopeful invaders with a show of military might, but in doing so he has left a far more cherished territory undefended.

Loki slits his neck and dies.
But sometimes…sometimes that’s not how the story goes.It only felt like seconds, but he awakens with an odd sensation that it has been much longer. To the reader: the only thing this can be compared to is victims of the Snap being brought back to life. An odd disorientation, where you don’t quite fit in the pocket of air you’ve been inserted in.
But that couldn’t have worked here, because Loki has ensured that the Snap will never happen.
As long as he’s dead, the universe is safe; Thor is safe.So…Thanos un-deads him.

I need to throw something else! Izuku thought, hands seeking anything within range.
His right hand wrapped around something, and the effort of lifting it made him spin. A deep voice resonated in his head “WHOSOEVER HOLDS THIS HAMMER-” He ignored it and threw the object in his hand, the metal of it ringing as it blew a hole in the sludge.
Izuku sprinted as hard as he could, feeling more energized than he ever had. He grabbed Bakugo by the shoulder and pulled with all his might, ripping the other boy from the slime. As if guided by some strange force, he lifted his arm and held out his open hand, the voice continuing to speak “-IF HE BE WORTHY-”
The thing flew back into his hand, the force of which forced his arm up, holding the hammer loft “-SHALL POSSESS THE POWER OF THOR!” A lightning bolt thundered down from the sky, striking Izuku and filling him full of energy.
