Summary
It was Christmas Eve, likely already early Christmas Morning, and something seemed off. The tree was there, all dressed up in lights and ornaments, and garland. The gifts were there, finally wrapped and settled under the tree for the boys in the morning. Even the milk and cookies were there, a small treat Brock absentmindedly crunched at from his seat on the couch. The only thing out of place seemed to be himself...

This is a snippet from an AU where season 4 Brock learned Sergeant Hatred was their new bodyguard, and this ends up being the final bridge too far with Dr. Venture. So he quits OSI, takes the boys, and moves to a cabin in the woods.
Also Merry Christmas to y'all! Probs will be my last fic of the year, but idk this AU has a chokehold on me. I'm not a Rusty-Anti or anything, but Rusty Bashing isn't my least favorite activity either... Might be a tad OOC but there is a criminal lack of Brock Dad in this fandom and I'm gonna provide it!
