you are not someone kind. you have not ever claimed you were kind, welcoming, patient. infact, you've told me you know you're selfish, that you only think of yourself at all times. and yet, even so, you look out for me even in public, your eyes follow me to my destination. your footprints are an echo of mine and you follow me to wherever I go. I will never speak these words to you, because you are more afraid than I am. you will run and hide at the mere mention of your kindness, coward. even so, it won't change how you act to me. you won't change, you'll still be the same part of yourself you've always been to me. why do you make me your exception?

I love you. that is why I'm afraid, I will never say the words. I hate your kindness, I hate the words you speak to me, I hate your gentleness and I despise you as a whole–even so, you're the only one I've ever wanted. but I'll deny your gestures, your willingness– I will avoid it like it will infect me eternally. yet, there's no point, as your kindness alone has already eternally affected me all the same; for it is stronger than all else.
