Maybe it was when his mind drifted - turned to softer times. Back to when they were just boys. When they ran through the field near their small village, wild and free. When the scent of home- cooked dinner meant their parents were still alive. When Morro’s laughter was real, and not just something that echoed through their hollow house. That high-pitched giggle, full of life, full of love. And full of happier times.
