Summary
A fantasy Edo-period Japan AU story. Spock is a lonely samurai without a master - a ronin - famous for his unique skills and his reputation of invincibility. He is proud of his independence and solitude, but one day, he sees himself forced to take under his wing a bratty, undisciplined apprentice of European origin, who understands nothing to the Way of the Sword or the code of honor... Will Spock manage to turn Jim into a real samurai? Or will they end up achieving a different kind of understanding?
