Summary
Pyrrhus points at the carvers. "This... Patroclus. Do not include him. I will not let any commoner toil the name of my father. This marker honors Achilles, and Achilles alone." With the snap of his fingers, they begin to carve Achilles’ name on the stone.
'Wait-' The thought of him as a shade, slowly losing his memories of this life, 'losing Achilles-' Patroclus claws and screams, but no one hears him.
'I need to be with him,' Patroclus begs. 'Oh Gods, anyone who can hear me, please, you can’t separate us, please, you can’t keep me here, I need to be with him, please-'
They finish Achilles’ name, with not a mark for Patroclus.
The next day, the Greeks leave the shores of Troy.
----
As a shade haunted by his guilt, Patroclus loses the memories of his life, and of Achilles.

Summary
Honestly, Patroclus hadn’t known the house was haunted.
There hadn’t been any warning, no bright banner declaring the presence of malicious poltergeists nor had there been any footnotes/small print in the contract that damages to person or house caused by unearthly presences were not the fault of the previous owner.
Patroclus had to wonder, who exactly had been the previous owner? How had they managed to accumulate this particular set of ghosts?
He stopped and ducked to avoid the plate flying at his head, feeling the ceramic touch his hair before it shattered against the wall. His dad was so going to kill him.
Patroclus looked up and he thought he saw dark eyes before the ghost was gone. But they weren’t the only ones. He still hadn't made it to his room.
To help him get over his mother's death, Menoetius moves the family to Phithia. A change in scenery could be beneficial for Patroclus. Except the house is haunted by various ghosts who enjoy making Patroclus's life difficult, the school worships a gang of jerks who make it their personal mission to ruin Patroclus's day, and Patroclus doesn't know how much more he can take.

Summary
He is my destination. I am the ship. She is my shore. Warm and safe, always here to secure. Yet, I desire more than the comforts offered, to have a taste at the salty sea of my tears.
To run to him and bask in his glory.
To be holy with him.
To be holy forever.
To steer away from possible, and drench in the possibilities I am undeserving of.
The mast bends under my wake and call. I holler to him, he is beyond my reach. I still sob his name into the hollowed winds round, stomp childishly as if to bring him back.
I come for him, he watches me so. He does not come.
The gods tug him back,
he does not see my tears.
I do not see his.
Yet, she is here to catch me as I fall.

“I had to do something. I had to be the one to save us all, because you refused to.”
Achilles swallowed the lump in his throat. Patroclus had never spoken to him like this before.
“We have spent our lives together.” Patroclus’ voice shook. Finally, he met Achilles’ eyes. His brown ones seemed darker than ever, laced with anger and resentment. “But now, I don’t know you anymore.”

He sat back down on the toilet lid, looked down at his bare thigh, the skin was already covered in neat little lines. Some thin, almost entirely faded, some that looked harsher. They were healed now, but they’d been cut deeper. They wouldn’t fade, not ever. They had already healed when Achilles saw them, still he’d made sure to kiss each and every one of them.

Summary
Achilles was never supposed to know he was the son of Zeus. And Patroclus was never supposed to matter at all.
They met at a quiet boarding school upstate, two boys with nothing in common except a shared room, at first.
Neither of them knew the truth about who they were… until someone showed up on a field trip and monsters followed. Greek myths started feeling a little too real.
A prophecy about a child of the Big Three hung over their heads, one who could shift the balance of the gods. Zeus was never meant to have Achilles as a son. And yet, there Achilles was.
The prophecy spoke of him.
But fate had plans for Patroclus too.(A Song of Achilles AU heavily inspired by Percy Jackson, told from Patroclus’s point of view!)
