“This sounds like a proposal to be friends,” Wakasa chuckles weakly. His hand brushes the packaging from the chocorooms, an unfamiliar gratitude filling his chest. He engulfs it in his palm and swallows it into his fist.
Benkei’s eyes are glued to the motorcycles again, and Wakasa would think he didn’t hear him if not for the small quirk of his lips.
“If it’s any easier for you to stomach, then we’ll call it a truce.”
