Link remembered the bare details - being gifted his first sword in a dark cave, facing off against the demon Ganon at far too young an age, then battling his way through sacred palaces in order to do… something. He couldn’t remember quite what. But he’d met his wife after that adventure and even time couldn’t rob him of the moment her cheeks had flushed red and her eyelashes fluttered. She awakened in his arms and he’d fallen in love at once.
