Daniel Park didn't know much about the world outside the confinement he was trapped in, forced to perform and fight till he felt like vomiting for the sake of the entertainment of aliens and the elite humans. The white shock collar on his neck always made sure to remind him of his place in this world as a human pet. He despised the system very much so and was willing to do anything to fix it, which was why, when he woke up in a random street without a single sight of a collar around his neck or guards he made it his life goal to break down this system by all means.

To Olly, the stars were like Hostel. Bright, scattered, but brought together in curious ways. He supposed that’s why he loved them so much, a comfort in the dark. It was Olly now, who sat on his own with a cat meowing in the distance ahead of him while cool air blew into his hair. He felt something, but he couldn’t pinpoint what it was- but when he focused on the distant laughs of a baby, a television playing somewhere, and far-off chatter, he smiled softly and figured out what it was.
