Summary
The Flock has always been The Lamb's top priority, he turned back mid crusades when he sensed someone was sick, it went scavenging for ingredients when the crops weren't growing fast enough, did most everything they asked of it, it broke up fights, punished those who wronged his flock, protected those who couldn't protect themselves... Though as much as he cared for them, he never quite felt that concern as deeply as anyone else would, he's lived over a century longer than he should have now, none of his original followers mulling around anymore. It's seen far too much death, in and outside of its Flock, to feel anything other than frustration when one of his followers passed, it barely remembered any of their names or faces anymore. Well, it struggled to recognize faces in general, but he only noticed those he took a liking to enough to marry and offer the gift of a long life, even then, they faded from his mind after a while.
However, something changes after he finally sets up the mating tent, relieved to have a way to maintain the cult's population without going out for days or spending a hundred coins.
