Somehow it hurt to see him laugh. It reminded her yet again that there were things about him that were not familiar. She thought for a long moment that she wanted to strip him of everything that was simultaneously old and new and foreign and young, until all of it melded together and she wouldn't see the difference: until all that was left of him was the bare porcelain of his soul.
Her eyes dipped down and she almost opened her mouth to chastise him to stuff his hands into his pockets, or else he'd get blisters.
What was she thinking?
Without meaning to, she found herself cracking a smile again at this man before her who had tousled hair, rough edges and sparkling eyes.
His hands reached for hers. "Well then, no better time than now to ask you to dance. Shall we?"
She was in a daze as he tugged her towards the dance floor.

Master had been putting much effort into her care, after all, and the crane was rarely wrong. Though, as things began to change — Master finding a sanctuary among the mortals and another infant girl to raise, Shenhe picking up work at the restaurant, the shifting of the seasons — the foreigner began coming back with less spring in her step and a crossroad of a mind.

At this rate, Ventus might prefer that - the pain of seeing Alatus and his dear twin sister Ying losing themselves to this war...to this damned war over NOTHING made him so, so angry.
But he will fight; for his friends, for his creator. Just to see a smile again on his creators' face...

It seems every morning that Teyvat brings is accompanied by the blurring of her brother in other details, like a Kamera picture fogging under the sun."

When Lumine wakes up, she notices that she is not in her room that’s in the teapot. Instead, she’s in her room of the house Jean told her that she could stay in whenever she’s in Mondstadt. Second thing that she notices is that she can hear noise outside her room and can smell eggs. The third thing she notices is that Paimon isn’t around as well.
She looks around the room to confirm that she is in fact in Mondstadt. Lumine then looks down at her clothes, they aren’t the ones she put on before bed. Her eyes close, confusion engulfing her body. “Is this a dream?” she whispers to herself as she opens her eyes.
