John reconnaît les signes : Sherlock passe du flirt à une crise de panique quasi instantanément alors qu'il travaille sur une affaire. Une fois rentré, Sherlock s'excuse de ne pas pouvoir offrir à John le type de relation qu'il désire manifestement en raison de son expérience passée de viol. Une tension et une angoisse intenses et délicieuses poussent John à lui proposer une expérience : Sherlock peut l'attacher et explorer son corps autant qu'il le souhaite, sans aucune obligation de continuer. Sherlock apprécie de pouvoir manipuler son colocataire jusqu'à le rendre fou de désir, et se rend compte qu'il n'est peut-être pas aussi brisé qu'il le pensait…

Sherlock rests ‘t home and doesn’t do much, his soul is withering away and he’s like a wilted flower caught by the breeze. I want to kick him like a useless dog. This is not me projecting but probably just writing out bullshit, or maybe both, either way there’s too many fics of this sort of variety and you can just throw rocks at me if you want.

My only wish for “The Lying Detective” was to show John apologizing to Sherlock for hitting him. Given the enduring tone towards the end of episode, I am sure that John would eventually apologize. So I just wanted to write a scene of how I think it would have gone. I also imagine what happened to John’s cane.
Setting: This takes place right after the scene in the flat, with John and Sherlock leaving to meet Molly for birthday cake.

John recognizes the signs - Sherlock goes from flirting to panic attack near-instantaneously while working on a case. Once John gets them home, Sherlock apologizes for how his past experience with rape has left him unable to provide the kind of relationship John obviously wants. Lots of delicious tension and angst lead John to propose an experiment: Sherlock can tie him up and explore as much or as little of his body as he likes, no obligation to continue. Sherlock finds he rather likes being able to manipulate his flatmate into a frenzy of need, and finds that perhaps he isn't as broken as he thought . . .
