Summary
they went to the same high school. Norton feared that it might get worse if he tried to approach him and Ithaqua refused to be the one to fix something he didn't break. In the middle of the term, they both just so happened to have been given an excuse to interact via the school play. With no other options but to cooperate, they try to reconnect and get back to where they used to be in each other's lives.

The play they’ll be performing is a loose retelling of another creator’s story in ao3, “ Of Hydrangeas and Rhodonderons “ and other works by author “ Feng_Yao “, though the ending is changed to be less of a tragedy by Director Sangria after thoughtful consideration during the observation of her actors. More or less leaning into Romeo and Juliet for its ending.
