Unfortunately, since the Drakemari Empire became involved in the reconstruction of Toreguarde several years ago, Fangthane has become extremely distrustful of visitors from the mainly human city-state. Edwin, the Abouna of the local church of Galana and a former adventuring partner of Selene's, now has to navigate between his friendship with the Grand Magus and his responsibilities to the city he has called home for the last decade.

The Adventurers have just returned from a mission in the Freezeblood Mountains, and Meredith is off to get a mentor figure who died some days earlier resurrected. Despite the problems facing the few dwarves left within Toreguarde’s walls, she has gone to the Temple of Moradin alone. This is based on a D&D session that actually happened and is more or less what happened with Meredith verbatim. The GM did his job very well that night.

This is the first in a collection where the author writes Harrymort-inspired fanfiction for traditionally published novels inspired by the Harry Potter universe.)
