This takes place after the last episode of the first season, Gideon Rises. In this alternate timeline Bill never appeared. Also the Pines twins and their friends are aged up slightly to 15.
The Pines family are loved after defeating Gideon and everything seems to be going Dipper's way, friendly chats with the townspeople, defeating the supernatural, working as a peacekeeper for the paranormal and the... well more normal people of Gravity Falls. But Dipper soon sticks his nose somewhere it doesn't belong. Really Dipper you should know better than voicing your thoughts about how a cult's god is just a demon. Now he's offered as a sacrifice for their triangular god. Dipper learns nightmares are all too real and Bill has plans for the world and wants to start with the sleepy Oregon town with his new servant and pet by his side. He just needs to be broken in first.

Yuu is a Black witch that is hunted for his crimes and for who he is and Mika is a White witch hired by a group of witch hunters to hunt down Yuu and kill him.
