“I’ve already spoken to Aizawa-Sensei,” Shouto interrupted, because they were getting nowhere fast and, really, now that he had one parent’s blessing, he wanted it to be over and done with so that he could speak to Midoriya himself. “He gave me the shovel talk.”
All Might paled considerably, his gaunt face taking on a look of concern. “The shovel talk? Todoroki, kid, you’re not… You’re not asking for young Midoriya’s hand in marriage, are you?”
“No.”
All Might smiled in relief, opening his mouth to tell Shouto that he was far too young to consider such things, but Shouto beat him to it. “I’m asking your permission to date him.”
All Might spat up blood.
