Chilchuck choked on his breakfast.
“Why is that, of all things to wonder about being a werewolf, the thing you think of?” Marcille exclaimed, also clearly embarrassed to think about that.

Chilchuck scratches his fingers below Laios’ chin, enjoying the flutter of his eyelashes and soft whine as he does. “The pasta, pup?”
“Yessir.” Laios tears himself away with a settling breath and a smile, “Can I put it on some plates?”
“That would be great.” Chilchuck wanders back to his chest of drawers to get comfortable clothes. He can hear Laios stumble as he walks away and tries to watch him get changed at the same time, the motion still as endearing as it was years ago. He grabs a loose T-shirt, worn soft, and house pants. Yeah. He deserves this. He does.
Even with their busy lives, Chilchuck and Laios make time to enjoy their partnership, whether it's making plans for dinner or for their next kinky scene.

Summary
After the quest to save Falin had been completed, and the new King ruled over the Island, the townspeople all began to settle down, including the ex party's lockpick, Chilchuck. As he works towards building up his shop and keeping the Half-Foot Union strong, alongside taking care of a impatient Izutsumi, he wonders why he hadn't seen Senshi in a while. Had the dwarf been avoiding him, or did he just never plan on returning to the surface to come visit the old party? Either way, Chilchuck decided to make it his mission to revisit his old friend, his longing to see him again growing strangely stronger day by day.
EDIT: This fic is currently on hiatus! Thank you to everyone who has read so far, and I'm sorry that I'll have to pause for a while! I have a lot going on, plus am currently hyperfixated on my OCs at the moment, so I'll be devoting my time to that instead. Not sure when (or if, we'll see) I'll continue this, but I hope that when S2 drops, I'll pick this back up if I can! <3
