Summary
One night in the Money Pit triggers memories in Voldo that he had thought buried along with Vercci- making him fear if his master's blood is on his hands, even while recalling the cruelty others inflicted upon him for the differences of his mind. But how many of his memories can he trust when they're fragmented, and only bring more strife to his weak body? And what is the difference between a man and a monster to the world outside of the pit? All of which forces him to care for himself for once, which brings with it forgotten warmth.
