A part of me was angry at the younger man, it screamed that no matter how much I berated and tried to hurt him, I never did it in public. I never humiliated him so publicly that even the people that hated him winced in pity. At that moment I didn’t want a reconciliation, I just wished that I could forget everything and everyone, especially him.
