"H-Hey Eddie?" I asked after a while, half expecting said person to be asleep. Instead, I received a sleepy "yea Josh?" "Could... Could this just be between you and me? Like... If the other boys don't know?" I stuttered, feeling him squeeze me in response.
"Of course Josh. Just between you and me." I smile in the dark, my heart warming at his kindness. But before I can thank him, his quiet snores fill the room. I soon follow, content and peaceful in my best friend's arms.
