Summary
Izuku and Katsuki have grown up together, in shared cookies and fights and Quirk diagnoses, in avoidance and bullying and finally, finally, in reconciliation, in something more akin to brothers than friends, begrudging and soft and so much more, all in equal measure.Katsuki is the one Izuku runs to when he sees Hisashi climbing the stairs of his apartment complex, and he is the one who keeps him safe.
(Izuku and Katsuki haven't always had a good relationship, but it's solidly back in the realms of healthy now, something very much proved when Hisashi turns up again and Izuku just needs to feel safe. Katsuki gives him that.)
