Zhuzhi-lang knew he was ugly.
Even without Tianlang-jun's careless comments, he could tell from the days before the demon emperor generously gifted him with his new body. He saw the way other demons looked at him, how their lips curled upwards in disgust as he slithered along. He saw it in the way they wished to purge him from the earth, some even calling him outright unnatural. Even with his new body, his looks were average at best.
He had never cared, of course, but hearing these unexpected words from the Peak lord of Bai Zhan peak made him re-evaluate.
