Summary
Kimahri Ronso, after losing his horn, leaves his tribe and is tasked with escorting the late High Summoner’s daughter to a small island village. Along the way, he must learn what it means to be a Ronso, away from the Ronso Tribe.
Braska, a disgraced Summoner, embarks on his pilgrimage, masking his fear of death, his remorse for abandoning his only child and grapples with quitting his pilgrimage or continuing.
Yunalesca is the daughter of Yu Yevon, the Lord of Zanarkand. The war between the Machina city and Bevelle threatens her position as a beloved public figure. When the conflict reaches its boiling point she learns a terrible secret and must choose between saving her people or saving herself.
Author’s Note: I wrote this story because I was frustrated by the fact that if you removed Kimahri from the game, it’s basically the same game. I felt that Kimahri as a character had way more to offer. I also wanted to explore Braska and Yunalesca’s character and motivations and then it expanded to a whole project (lol) all of the events in this story are before the game. I hope you enjoy!
