On silent command, that sleek, black blade of his materializes in his hand, thrumming with oppressive power and killing intent. He raises the hefty changjian to her pale throat, his tone as flat and dispassionate as his gaze.
“Or, I can also undo this problem by killing you, right now.” Surely this ridiculous curse will break if one of them is no longer amongst the living, thus saving everyone the unnecessary trouble.
The blade is so sharp, it only takes the barest of pressure to nick her ivory skin, drawing a fine sliver of crimson.
The man’s long, narrow eyes fixate briefly on his long sword as it trembles excitedly upon contact with the woman’s blood. Simultaneously, his neck stings at the same time, as if he had also been cut by the same sword, at the same place.
RE: Xunfeng and Danyin attempt friendship, entirely against their wills.

Summary
This is a continuation of the TV series after the epilogue. I wrote the tale of Dongfang Qingcang and Xiyun’s wedding after a friend encouraged me to do so, here:

Then I thought - they’d like each other. In fact… And my friend egged me on again (he’s a good sort). I’m not sure if it’s finished yet - will see if any more scenes occur to me.
I have kept to the TV series storyline and tried to keep consistent with the feeling of the series and characters. (I also read a translation of the original novel.)
I have used the English Pinyin transliterations from the TV series. Any errors, let me know. I only know a very little Mandarin.

Summary
Ye Ruolan, a courtesan at Falling Blossom Pavilion, takes pity on a man who’s been hit by a carriage in Lucheng. The man has totally lost his memory, but Ye Ruolan suspects that he’s a noble of some description. Perhaps he’s fallen into hard circumstances like she has. She’s stuck as a courtesan, despite her dreams of a better life.
As she gets to know the mysterious man better, she can’t believe where the clues are pointing. She doesn’t believe in Immortals, Demons or Gods, so why would she have been saddled with looking after one of them?
[This is a continuation of my various LBFAD spin offs, in which Changheng routinely visits mortal taverns in Lucheng to drown his sorrows. I tried to think of a suitable romance for Changheng, because I felt rather sorry for him. I decided that he’d have to forget who he was again, to be able to fall in love with someone, and that he preferred the mortal world. So this is what came out, riffing off the themes from the show.]

After Dongfang receives a warning for changing fate, he doesn't think much of it until he finds himself in a world where the Cangyan Sea and Shuiyutian are ruled by Xishan. Here, hellfire is just a long-forgotten legend, and as a royal Dongfang must submit to harsh treatment. His beloved Orchid is the goddess Xiyun, a ruler who is cold and unforgiving towards the Moon people.
Meanwhile, the Moon Supreme has changed into a Dongfang his family and friends do not recognize. Now timid and soft-spoken, Orchid and Shangque work together to find out what is behind the sudden change in his personality. It soon becomes clear he is Dongfang—but not their Dongfang.
As Orchid and Shangque attempt to find a way to bring their Dongfang back, they also need to keep the switch a secret: which also means passing off the gentle version as their bold and decisive king. At the same time, Dongfang wrestles with the drive to free his people and put Xishan in its place. But he also needs the goddess to get back home, something that may be impossible to get if he returns to his old self.

Taisui has been defeated, and Xiyun is left to grieve the loss of Dongfang Qingcang. The young goddess struggles to find peace with her new life, her new role, and herself. Dongfang Qingcang changed her destiny and gave her a future. Now she must work her way out from the hurt and back to life. The path is a long one, leading her to old and new friends, balancing duty and responsibility as she rediscovers who she is.

This is a gap-filler - showing Changheng’s point of view during Love Between Fairy and Devil. I wanted to show how Changheng might have been able to take the attitude towards Xiao Lanhua he did in the show - partly as a result of not knowing what was going on, partly as a result of wishful thinking.

When Creeper is awoken by the resurrected Goddess of Xishan, Xiyun, she’s shocked by the change. Xiyun bears very little resemblance to the plant spirits’ dear friend Xiao Lanhua. Then the plant spirits discover that “Big Chiang” is still following Xiyun, and he’s trying to get her to remember him. As the plant spirits begin to realise what’s going on, they give “Big Chiang” some advice.
