Summary

Summary
It’s been five years since Xie Lian was brought to this tower. Since he was woken up in the middle of the night and dragged out of the castle by a stranger calling himself Jun Wu.
The man said that a plague had broken out, and that his parents were already in hiding. Apparently, the kingdom was a mess, and it wasn’t safe to stay there any longer. Grotesque faces were appearing on every resident of Xianle, and everyone was dying.
He was brought to a tower in the middle of the woods. Jun Wu said it was just for now, and the seclusion was for the best. Just stay put until the plague dissipates.
But the plague seems to never end. And neither does Jun Wu’s strange obsession with his healing powers.
But it’s for the best. In the safety of the tower, he can live another day. And hopefully, someday he'll be strong enough to cure his people with his power.
However, Xie Lian’s whole world view comes crashing down when a red-clad stranger stumbles upon his tower. Alive and plague-free.

There was something that Xie Lian had been noticing continuously since they first got intimate. And it was just recently that they had their first time, but it was still quite obvious to him. Hua Cheng.....didn’t let his voice out. Or at least tried his best not to. At times he would even close a hand over his mouth to muffle any sounds. At first it irritated Xie Lian slightly. He wanted to listen to all of his lover’s sounds, he did sound quite pretty after all.
Xie Lian really should rectify this habit of Hua Cheng’s.......but maybe not immediately. It was after all, quite adorable to watch San Lang try so hard against his own body to keep his voice in. It made Xie Lian wonder just how far he would be willing to go to keep it in. Just how far could he be pushed till he finally gave in to the pleasure, unable to keep quiet, driven to the brink of pleasure.

Of course some servants of the Palace of Xianle only had to pay attention to certain rules. Doing much, much simpler jobs which wouldn't require them actually inside the palace or gardens. There were few that actually are relevant to most.
The few servants that cared for the royal family and relatives were the ones who had to follow every rule, without fail. Such as; be courteous, never touch anything you aren't required to, be able to tell the date and time at any moment, care for the person you're assigned to every hour they're awake or asleep and many more.
