“For someone special?” Hearing his voice again is a goddamn slap to the face. Something is telling Chuuya it isn't worth it to start drama here of all places.
But his stupidly sweet ass tone has broken his wits, his presence alone has left him so unsettled he can’t even remember what he was doing there. He has to cross his arms over his chest to stop himself from punching him to death. The screams in his mind are like the rage overflowing in every drop of his blood. So he returns to be his stupid twenty-four-year-old self when he opens his mouth.
“Your ex-boyfriend.”
He hadn’t expected such a quick understanding on his part, much less the surprise expressed in the writer's eyes. When he looks up with the book in his hands, Chuuya stands still, watching him and feeling like his heart will burst out of his chest at any minute.
Fuck.
After all these years, does Dazai still have to look so criminally gorgeous?

Chuuya won't say that he is used to this. He is definitely not the one getting confessed to right and left. There were merely a few instances when he was confessed to, but he couldn't even bring himself to say no to the people involved with these merely few instances and ended up going on awkward dates which, to Chuuya's relief, made the other party realise that they were practically forcing him to do this. Luckily, this always escalated as them dumping Chuuya on the very first date and Chuuya was just too good that he took the blame for not being invested every time. Well, that was the case until he encountered this one girl in his office who was determined to date him and actually have a future with him. Chuuya had seen all kinds of people and he knew better than to steer clear of people like her who were pretty much 'focused'. But the problem with him is, he is too kind for his own good.
