Izuku Midoriya learned from a young age that no matter what you do or who you are, someone will hate you for it, whether you can control it or not, like narcolepsy, not to mention his quirk too. Izuku has narcolepsy and a cat quirk that simultaneously benefits him and makes his disorder even worse to deal with.
