Summary
The Blackout decimated all. Project Iris had failed before it was ever conceived. But still they’d continue their battle against a universe intent on weeding them out.
Natalie considered herself lucky. Raised in relative comfort under the hand of Vinson Dynamics, she was free to focus on her own role in bettering mankind’s future. No regard needed for the secrets she'd find in Vinson's basement. These secrets were meant to keep history from repeating itself. She trusted that they would. She would make sure they would, by any means necessary.
It all just turned out to be a little messier than planned.

Natalie was always sensitive to sensations of all kinds. Sounds and textile feelings, especially. Constant, low white noise helped keep her centered and focused. The feeling of soft things, a gentle brush of nerves through the skin, relaxed her.
She loved being able to sense the world, for both the good and bad, it was a privilege she wouldn’t have any other way, even if at times it could be hard.
