Summary
"I thought storms weren't evil," Will reminded him with a tired smile. "Acts of God, you said."
The gentle jab didn't go down as expected. Hannibal raised his eyes. He looked gaunt with exhaustion, eyes sunken but sharp as ever, concerned gaze drilling into Will like diamonds. His top lip curled. Almost snarling.
"That label is reserved for anything and anyone that threatens to separate us."
Will and Hannibal recover together on a boat post-fall, and learn how to live with each other in the process.

Summary
Will's fingers cling to the warmth of Hannibal's skin, a once unimaginable sensation now a desperate necessity. He presses his thumb under Hannibal's chin, tilting his head up firmly.
"Everything went dark, but the scene in your office shed some light. I may have dragged you into my world today, but something tells me you might have visited long before me," Will's voice tensely hangs between them. Then Hannibal's lips twitch subtly, and Will feels the action ripple like a trapped ghost under his thumb.
Will has a doubled moment of clarity at the scene of Tobias Budge’s death.

Summary
—“I didn’t come here to stop you,” he said.
“I came because I knew I wouldn’t.”
Hannibal’s lips curved slightly.
“And you missed me.”
Will looked down at his plate.
“God help me,” he said, barely above a whisper,
“I did.”
Hannibal leaned forward just enough for the warmth of the candlelight to catch his face, eyes flickering like coals.
“You think you’ve surrendered,” he said, voice low and calm.
“But I think you’re only now becoming what you were always meant to be.”

Summary
Hannibal overhears Beverly make a crack about Jack being Will's FBI sugar daddy, and Hannibal takes that as a personal insult and challenge all in one.
~
Inspired by a post I saw months and months ago on Tumblr about how Jack was always ready to give Will whatever he needed to catch the Chesapeake Ripper, money and resources be damned. And this was born. It's lighthearted, a little cracky, and written in the style of short little snapshots into their developing relationship over the course of many months.

Summary
Will carefully adjusted the sling over Hannibal's shoulder, fingers lingering on his skin, sensing when that perfunctory touch transformed into something more profound. The source of this change was nearly impossible to discern. Feeling the genesis of something while being blind to its root was as relieving as it was destabilizing– much like faith.
At the edge of the cliff overlooking a chasm, they discovered a tremulous bridge that takes two to cross.

Hannibal has entangled himself with the FBI, putting himself at risk through his intimate involvement. But he only takes the risk because he knows Will Graham will allow him to untangle himself and step away without burning in the flame.
Yet, as it turns out, Hannibal cannot predict Will Graham, and most inconveniently, he cannot predict how his emotions toward Will Graham will develop.

Summary
It has been uncountable horrible hours of just, silence. Not a word shared between them. And what could be said, Will thought a bit hysterically, after all they had done. All the lying, manipulation, killing, betrayal, after all that. What could be said, when in the end, it was just the two of them?
This was their happy ending, he supposed.

Summary
“How long have I been here?” Will asked, but immediately waved off her answer, realizing it didn’t matter either way. “Look, my name is Will Graham – I don’t know what happened but you have to give my partner a call.”
“I’ll get the doctor,” she told him, her voice trained to the mellow murmur just about all medical professionals used on omegas.
Will opened his mouth to tell her that there was no need, that he felt fine, and if she would just listen, he could discharge himself and be out of her hair in thirty minutes flat. He grabbed the safety rails and forced himself to stand, though the motion made him a little dizzy. Something on his peripheral vision grabbed at him. The whiteboard strip above the hospital bed – W GRAHAM-LECTER, omega, male, B positive – struck him like a physical blow.

Summary
“I don’t get it,” I say, keeping it simple. “Do you love each other, or are you just using each other?”
“We all use each other. That is the nature of relationships,” Hannibal replies, his voice calm as ever. “But love? Yes, there is love. It is simply not the kind of love you are accustomed to.”
Maybe. Did my dad love my mom, even though he killed her? Did he love me, even though he wanted to kill me? Is there more than one form of love? We lived like a normal family for years. Breakfast together, small talk at the table—no one would’ve suspected what was happening behind closed doors.
No one would’ve known what he made me do.
People say he was a monster—I’ve heard that countless times. But what about me? Am I one, too? It’s the same puzzle. I’m back where I started. Hannibal and Will are two sides of the same coin.
And where do I fit in all of this?

Summary
“It will be five years.”
Will turned around in his seat, looking at his companion curiously. “What will?”
“Since the day we met. Five years. Tomorrow.” The doctor stood at the counter, chopping up his red bell peppers in a relaxed manner.
