I had this idea while rewatching the first Scream and thought about the scene where Sidney is conflicted between Randy and Stu being the killer and shuts the door on both of them. Then, I re watched Scream 2 and remembered how in denial I was when Randy died (spoilers) that I hoped he would come back at the end as the killer at least. Anyway, here's my version of scream 2

Stu paused, his eyes widening as he read the label. He held the tape up, letting the light catch it, and his eyes poured over the cover. It featured three clearly nude men: two large and muscular, their bodies glistening with a sheen of sweat, while the other was an effeminate man displayed as a caricature of a nerd, complete with thick glasses and a shy demeanor. Across the top in a bold, stamped font read Team Players 4.
Holy shit.
“Hey… Randy,” Stu began, suppressing his smirk, “You said you hand pick all your movies, right?”
“Yep!” Randy declared proudly, leaning forward to see what the fuss was about. Stu took a moment, glancing between the suggestive artwork and his lax friend. Stu shot Randy a playful look.
“So, uh, nothing ends up here on accident?” he pressed.
“What are you getting at?” Randy said dryly as he tried to maintain his composure. By this point, Billy was sat up straight, ears perked in curiosity.
“Oh nothing. I was just really curious about this movie I found,” Stu began, “Does Team Players 4 ring a bell?”

Summary
The Ghostface murders are across a longer span of time, starting a few weeks earlier in the year. Throughout this whole time Randy has stuck to his guns that Billy is the killer. Billy decides they need to deal with this minor nuisance.
Randy survives with his smart mouth (and by fucking/getting fucked by the two killers).

Because he’s watched and rewatched so many, Randy would consider himself an expert on slashers. So, when a masked killer starts attacking their town, he uses his knowledge to avoid getting killed.

Billy and Stu just can’t seem to kill Randy.

“I’ve even got to second base once, at a party,” Randy chews his bottom lip, which is incredibly interesting to Stu, “I mean, it was over the shirt, but still. Counts.” He puffs out his chest, like he’s daring the other to discount what he imagines was a very exciting experience for him.
Stu doesn’t take the bait, and instead asks, “so you’ve never even had a girl jack you off?”
“What part of second base only did you miss, Einstein?” Randy is good at standing his ground, Stu will give him that--his tongue gets all mean when he thinks he’s being made out as a joke. For once, Randy is far, far off the mark.
“Cause I’ll jack you off, if you want.”
